Nithya Menon made her debut in Veppam and after that she acted in one Tamil movie. The actress who was from Kerala never did get much chances in Malayalam.

She then went to Telugu film industry and got friendly with Siddharth. They acted together for the movie 180 (Nootrenbathu). They soon became good friends and even thought that she would be recommended for her films.

However, fate tuned to be otherwise. The film that should have had her in the lead role, was changed as Siddharth intervened and recommended Samantha to be cast as the lead heroine.

Naturally Nithy Menon was moved to the second role. She became furious on hearing that and is considering Siddharth as a villain in real life.
