Director Ramesh has said that he is being threatened in Karnataka for taking movie ‘Vanayudham’.
Director Ramesh gave an interview, excerpts from which are as follows: -
‘As per order issued by High Court, we released movie ‘Vanayudham’ on Feb 14th. Also, I have conceded compensating Muthulakshmi with Rs 25 lakhs as per Supreme Court order.’
‘As a creative artiste, I have brought to light the truth in Veerappan’s life. But I am facing problems in Karnataka.’
‘Some Kannada outfits accuse that the movie has been taken favouring Tamil Nadu Government, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamil Nadu Police. They protest against the movie. I have decided to request for security with the Bangalore Police Commissioner.’
