Vijay releases the audio of Vathikuchi

Vatikuchi audio released
Actor Vijay is busy with audio launch functions. He took a break from his upcoming film Thalaivaa and returns to Chennai to attend these audio functions which he cannot deny.
Recently he attended Onbathula Guru and now he was seen at Vatikuchi audio launch.

'Vathikuchi' is A R Murugadoss's next production venture after 'Engeyum Eppothum'. The audio of the film was released yesterday (February 13) evening at Express Avenue by Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

Express Avenue Mall in Chennai was reverberating with the sound of whistles and applause as the crowd eagerly waited for the one and only Ilayathalapathy Vijay to appear on the centre stage to officially release the audio of Vathikuchi, an AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios production, starring Dileepan and Anjali.

This unique launch that happened in front of a live audience was slightly delayed as everyone waited with bated breath for the chief guest for the evening, Ilayathalapathy Vijay, to arrive at the venue.
The function began with the Singapore based music director Ghibran introducing the songs to the live audience. The first song for the evening was the melodious umber ‘Kanna Kanna Urutti Urutti’, which was sung by Sai Charan, the popular singer from Vijay TV’s Super Singer show. Then Shabbir rendered the fast, racy theme song which got a huge reception from the live crowd.

Producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu who earlier spoke lavished praise on AR Murugadoss. The veteran producer said, “AR Murugadoss can turn anything into gold. This film too will be a huge hit like Engeyum Eppodhum.”

Suddenly, the crowd roared to welcome actor Vijay, who waded in through a swelling crowd. After Vijay took his seat in the front row, the song ‘Amma Wake Me Up’, picturised on actress Anjali was screened along with the film’s trailer.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who later spoke on stage said that he thoroughly enjoyed the trailer and congratulated the film’s hero Dileepan. Actor Vijay said that the young actor has ‘come up with very cute expressions’. The actor also was of the opinion that having an audio launch function inside a popular mall was a fantastic idea.

Other celebrities who attended the function also include Gayathri of ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanum’. At the end of the function, one could say that this gamble of launching the audio in front of a live audience had paid off. Although, it should be said that the organisers need to take care of security and other safety measures not just for the stars but also for the public.

Vathikuchi is a thriller directed by debutant Kinslin and the music score is by Ghibran of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame.
