Thalaivaa, an upcoming romantic thriller starring Vijay in the lead role being directed by A.L.Vijay, has completed its third schedule and fourth schedule will be canned in Spain. Recently, the title track of the film was shot in Mumbai with 500 junior artists.

As per sources Thalaivaa director A.L.Vijay's brother Udhaya joined the film. Udhaya has already appeared in films like "Thirunelveli" and plays a prominent role in Thalaiva. This movie is anticipated to release in May 2013.

Thalaivaa casts Amala Paul as the female lead and Santhanam, Rajiv Pillai in prominent roles. G.V.Prakash teams up for fifth time with director A.L.Vijay. The music director tweeted that 3 out of 5 songs were completed along with two themes. Thalaiva produced under Sri Mishri Productions has editing by Anthony and cinematography by Nirav Shah.
