Bharathiraja’s Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum, which has been in the making for quite a long time, is expected to hit the screens soon.

The title of the movie has now been changed to ‘Annakodi’. Lakshman Narayan and Karthika Nair play the lead roles while Manoj Bharathiraja plays a pivotal role in the film. Karthika Nair had tweeted “Bharathiraja sir’s movie Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum title has been changed to just Annakodi. Short and sweet.”

Music for the film is scored by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The movie is touted to be a village based film and the release date is expected to be announced soon.
