A.R.Rahman was in Mumbai recently to participate in the MTV Video Music Awards India edition. Rahman was also awarded for his album 'Infinite Love'.
The award was presented by the multi-talented beauty queen turned actress Priyanka Chopra.

While talking to the press later on, Rahman was asked if he will give Priyanka Chopra an opportunity to sing for him, as she had recently released her debut solo album as a singer. Rahman responded by saying that she was the one who has to give him a chance to work with her.

When asked if he would give the actor an opportunity to sing one of his compositions, he said, “Rather, she needs to give me one (a job).”

It could have been a tongue-in-cheek remark from the Oscar winner but considering his humble demeanor it wouldn't be hard to think otherwise.
