The entire Tollywood and movie lovers had been eagerly waiting for the much-awaited remake of Rajinikanth-starrer Thillu Mullu, which features Shiva and Isha Talwar in lead roles.

The film, under Badri’s direction has completed its shooting at a fast pace with Prakash Raj and Kovai Sarala in other key roles.

An ecstatic Shiva tweeted, "Thank god and the whole unit we finished thillu Mullu shooting yesterday..hope we did a justice to the real one thanks Cheers". The remake of the original Thillu Mullu, which was directed by K. Balachandar, will be based on Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Gol Maal.

Produced by Vendhar Movies, the remake has got legendary music composer M. S. Viswanathan and Yuvan Shankar Raja on board for scoring the music together, for the first time.
