For those who have seen Bala’s Paradesi already would have noticed famed dance master Sivasankar in a unique role that was enacted in a delightful manner.
The satirical song and sequences featuring him surely made for one of the films many memorable moments.

But before Sivasankar master was selected for the role, it is believed that Power Star Dr. Srinivasan was invited for a look and screen test for the same character, but due to various reasons he was replaced with the experienced choreographer.

After watching the film one may feel that Power Star’s casting too might have been highly appropriate without taking anything away from Sivasankar master’s delightful performance.
