Powerstar Dr. Srinivasan made an appearance in the Madurai Court yesterday, 8th April, following a non-bailable arrest warrant issued against the actor.

A case was registered on Dr. Srinivasan after a cheque issued by him had bounced.

Ganesh Kumar of Nehru Nagar in Madurai had reportedly lent Dr. Srinivasan Rs. 9 lakh after the actor agreed to return the money in a couple of months. The post-dated cheque that Powerstar had issued had bounced due to lack of funds. The actor was summoned twice by the court but had not turned up prompting a non-bailable arrest warrant issued against him.

The presiding judge Sundaram however has cancelled the arrest warrant after Powerstar's appearance and has pushed the hearing for April 25th.
