Gautam Karthik, Lakshmi Menon starrer Sippai shooting will commence from April 25th. Cinematographer turned director Saravanan of Silambattam fame is directing this film and D.Imman is composing the tunes.

Director Saravanan shared this news through a social networking site. He tweeted, "Shooting kick starts. Let us march with SIPPAI." This is the second movie for Gautam Karthik as the main lead. He received many accolades for his performance in Kadal though the movie failed to entertain the audience.

Gautam Karthik also signed his next film Vai Raja Vai under Aishwarya R.Dhanush's direction. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the tunes for Vai Raja Vai. Female lead and technical crew announcement is awaited. Vai Raja Vai has Velraj's cinematography and produced under AGS Entertainments.
