Cinematographer turned director Ravi K.Chandran headed back to India along with Harris Jayraj after composing tunes for Yaan. Jeeva and Thulasi Nair are playing the main leads. Elred Kumar and Jayaraman are producing this film.

Recently, director Ravi K.Chandran and music director Harris Jayraj has moved to abroad to compose the tunes for Yaan. Music sitting was done in places like New York, Mexico, Jamaica and Haiti. Director Ravi K.Chandran headed back to India and tweeted, "Heading back home from Mexico @Jharrisjayaraj has composed 4 exclusive super hit tracks for #Yaan .can't wait to record n shoot them :-)"

Yaan first look was launched recently and it depicts movie as romantic action thriller. Yaan also casts Premji, Prakash Raj, Nassar and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. Manush Nandan is handling cinematography and editing is by A. Sreekar Prasad. This movie is produced under R.S.Infotainment.
