Kishore's Tamil-Kannada bilingual Vanayuddham, directed by AMR Ramesh, has completed 50 successful days in theatres.

Vanayuddham chronicles notorious forest brigand Veerappan’s youth, his entry into smuggling, his rise as a dacoit, his love life, and finally his death at the hands of special team of police.

In the film Arjun plays the role of DGP K. Vijay Kumar, who goes on a mission to capture the notorious sandalwood smuggler and dacoit Veerappan. Kishore as Veerappan and Vijayalakshmi as his wife.
