Vishal who has turned producer with his banner Vishal Film Factory has titled his first film as Pandinadu.

The film which has Lakshmi Menon as heroine is set in Madurai and is a revenge action entertainer directed by Suseenthiran.

In the film Vishal`s father character is important and has got equal footage as the hero. Vishal and Suseenthiran approached veteran director Bharathiraja to do the role and he has readily agreed to it.

Bharathiraja has done quite a few films like playing villain in Mani Ratnam`s Aayudha Ezhuthu. He only takes roles which suit him and is very particular that he reads the script before taking up any role.
