Veteran director KV Anand and Dhanush are all set to begin the shoot of their upcoming project soon and the latest addition to the cast is Alia Bhatt who featured in Karan Johar’s Student of the year. Alia Bhatt is paired opposite Dhanush in the untitled flick which is set to commence by mid-August. Dhanush has agreed to give the 150-day call sheet to the veteran filmmaker.

In the meantime, the rest of the cast and crew of the film are expected to be announced soon. The buzz in the industry is that Anirudh may compose the music for the film. Alia Bhatt’s first movie role was as a child artist when with Sangharsh (1999), starring Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta where she played the younger Zinta.
