The last Friday (May 31) before the schools reopen after summer holidays. It is also the first Friday after the controversial IPL 6 got over. A lot of big movies are releasing this weekend to cash in on the holiday mood.

Sasikumar's Kutti Puli released a day earlier in maximum number of screens on Thursday (May 30), to make it a four day weekend. The other Tamil release is Issaki and a soft-porn 'A' movie Kandathum Kathal .

The Telugu biggie Allu Arjun-Amala Paul romantic Iddarammayilatho is releasing big in Chennai city and suburbs. There are two dubbing films releasing this week, Kannadi Pisasu a dubbing of a little known English film and a Telugu to Tamil dubbing Police Dada.

The big Friday release from Bollywood is Ranbir Kapoor- Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. And from Hollywood there is Cinderella and the comedy riot Hangover 3.
