A month long schedule of ‘Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal’ starring Udayanidhi Stalin and Nayantara has been wrapped in Coimbatore.

Ace photographer Sundar Ramu of ‘Mayakkam Enna’ and ’3′ fame who will be playing a key role in the film ws also part of the shoot in Coimbatore.

Udayanidhi had tweeted, “IKK – End of a 30 days schedule! Now just 10 days of talkie portion and 5 songs shoot remaining! Waiting for the next schedule!”


Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal is directed by S R Prabakaran and has music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by Red Giant Movies. Nayanthara plays Pavithra a simple, middle-class girl while Udhayanidhi plays an unemployed man who goes to Madurai and falls in for Pavithra. Nayan will carry her de-glam look thoughout the film and interestingly in the songs too.
