One of the most successful comedy combinations in Tamil cinema is that of Shiva and Santhanam. They rocked big time in Kalakalappu and Thillu Mullu. The teaser of their Ya Yaa is a big hit and they will also be seen in Vanakkam Chennai.

Meanwhile one-time leading producer PL Thenappan has roped in the two for a film to be directed by Kanna Laddu Thinna Asaiya director Manikandan. The director has good equation with the two comedy stars and they have agreed in principal to give him dates.

Manikandan's film will be titled Dinasari Naalu Katchigal (Daily 4 shows). The buzz is that the film will be a rural comedy based around the running of a C-class theatre.
