For the first time in his career, Siddharth held a press meet in Chennai. It was obvious that that the actor wanted his 'unfriendly and hostile' image with the media to change, after the resounding success of UTV's Sundar C directed Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (TVSK).

Siddharth, dressed casually in a pair of jeans and black kurta with a 'vibhuti' on his forehead went out of his way to curry favour with the 'powerful Kollywood media'. He answered all questions with ease and a smile on his face.

Most of the questions asked by the hacks related to his love life. Some samples – Did he go to Kalahasthi with Samantha ? Who is sweeter Hansika or Samantha? Answer – Undoubtedly Samantha is the sweetest because she speaks Tamil!

Siddharth said that on the professional front he has dished out the biggest hit in his career –TVSK. It is the first film of his to have netted over Rs 10 Crore in the first week. He is currently shooting for Jigarthanda in Madurai, which will be followed by Kaviyathalaivan.

He signed off with a big smile as he says due to his busy schedule he has no time to get married!!
