Kollywood famous director, story writer and producer Rasu Madhuravan(44) passed away in Chennai.
The sources say that Rasu Madhuravan was suffering from throat cancer for some time now and last breathed today in Chennai at Kamakshi memorial hospital. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Rasu Madhuravan gave many Box Office hits like Pandi(2008), Mayandi Kudambathar (2009), Goripalyam (2010) and Muthukku Muthaage ( 2012). His latest flick Sogusu Perundhu starring Yuvan was scheduled to release this year.
He was known for his style of direction in Kollywood. His theme were mainly focused on rural culture and family oriented movies. He got his fame from Mayandi Kudambathar, where the movie starred 10 Tamil directors like Manivannan, Seeman, Tarun Gopi and Ponvannan in the cast.
A large number of Kollywood personalities have condoled the death of Rasu Madhuravan.
