While there has been earlier buzz that four films Pattathu Yaanai, Sonna Puriyaadhu Ponmaalai Pozhudhu, and Thanga Meengal are expected to release on July 26, the latest news is the latter two mentioned movies might not make it to big-screens on the mentioned day.

Since it's difficult for the makers to allocate the screens, the films Ponmalai Pozhudhu and Thanga Meengal have opted out of the race and are expected to hit the screens later in August after Vijay's Thalaivaa release.

On the other hand, Vishal's Pattathu Yaanai, and Sonna Puriyathu will hit the big-screens on 26th of the month while Dhanush's Maryan is gearing up for July 19 release which has already occupied major theaters.
