The first schedule of Vasanthabalan's Kaaviyathalaivan has been completed in Karaikal. It is a period drama revolving around the real life incidences of actor, singer and stage artist KB Sundarambal and SG Kittappa.

The actors involved are Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika and Anaika. S Sashikanth of Y'Not Studios is producing the film which has music by AR Rahman and Nirav Shah is the cinematographer.

Siddharth had tweeted: "Kaaviyathalaivan first schedule wrap today. Vasanthabalan, ARR, Sashi, Prithviraj, Nirav, brilliant collaborators. Humbled, grateful."

The next schedule of Kaaviyathalaivan will be held in a Chennai studio from August 24.
