Finally, the film has got through the censor board committee with a favourable result. The film is directed by AL Vijay and is produced by Chandraprakash Jain.

The film is slated to hit screens on Eid and the booking plans is expected to open from tomorrow.

Thalaivaa stars Amala Paul opposite Vijay in female lead role with Santhanam and Sathyaraj performing important characters. GV Prakash has composed songs for this film that has cinematography handled by Nirav Shah.
