The talkie portions of Simbu’s much-delayed project Vaalu starring Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam has been wrapped. The film directed by debutant Vijay Chander is being produced by Nic Arts and has VTV Ganesh, Brahmanandam, Aditya and Salim Ghouse in the cast. Vaalu is a love story and is about a youngster who lives in the railway quarters in Chennai and he film is expected to be a thorough entertainer.

The team will wrap the film after completing the pending song shoots and the movie is slated for Diwali release. A new audio teaser from the film which has music score by Thaman is likely to be released soon. The expectations for the movie has sky rocketed after Simbu and Hansika have declared that they are seeing each other.
