Janani Iyer seems to be doing well in Malayalam films. We hear that the actress has signed on her second film, Kootra, which has Mohanlal in the lead. Interestingly actor Bharath also plays one of the leads in this film. Janani says, “I will be shooting for this film from next month in Calicut. I am excited to be a part of a Mohan Lal’s film so soon in my career. It is a fantasy film in which I play the role of a college girl.”


Meanwhile the actress has also completed shooting for her next Tamil film, Thegidi and she is soon to sign on another project in K-town as well. She says, “I am trying to do a balancing act with both the industries. I am slowly picking up Malayalam and I will be able to speak well after the end of this shoot. The shoot of Mollywood films wrap up in quick span of time and it’s easy for me to commit projects in Tamil films too.”
