Though Vasanthabalan’s upcoming film Kaaviya Thalaivan is indeed a period saga, the film is not an adaptation of KB Sundarambal and Kittappa’s love story as believed.

Vasantha Balan’s next film Kaaviya Thalaivan, which was the adaptation of KB Sundarambal and Kittappa’s love saga, is apparently not like that. But it is set in their period and is a grand musical, as given.

Meanwhile, 45% of the film has been canned over 2 schedules and the talkie portions are expected to be completed by the end of November. The film makers are also supposedly planning to begin the promotional campaigns by December end or January.

The team is also confident that the cinematography and art direction will be spoken about after the release. The other important of the film is obviously AR Rahman’s music. Our sources closed to the team, it assure that there will be a lot of music in the film and reveal that the composer has already composed some stunning numbers.

Vasantha Balan’s “Kaaviya Thalaivan”, produced by Y Not Studios, has Actor Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika, Anaika, Nasser and Thambi Ramaiah in the central roles and they have come up with spectacular performances. Cinematographer Nirav Shah has taken the spot behind the lens. The team is quite keyed up about the music, cinematography and storyline. The promotional campaign for the film is expected to begin in December or January.
