Justice R Sudhakar of Madras High Court passed the orders on a civil suit filed by Melbourne-based Additude Advertising Pvt Limited, represented by its managing director K K Santhanam.
Santhanam said the original producers of the movie (Gemini Film Circuit) paid only 51,000 Australian dollars and still owed 72,800 dollars to his company for the services provided.
With a view to protect the interests of the producers as well, the judge then said they could furnish a bank deposit for 50% of the claim amount, which works out to around 22 lakh, and seek the release of the film.
In short if GFC furnishes a bank guarantee of Rs 22 lakhs , Madha Gaja Raja can release most probably on September 27.
