The trend-setting director Prabhu Solomon launched his new film Kayal, for producers Escape Artists Motion Pictures S Madan. A press meet was held at Leela Palace on Wednesday (Sep 11) to announce the film.

We have received updates about the cast and crew of Prabhu Solomon’s next feature film, Kayal. The film will predominantly feature new faces and the likes of Chandran, Vincent and Anandhi have been signed on for the movie.

Imman Annachi is also part of the cast while auditions are being done for the other important roles in the movie.
R.K.Varma is the cinematographer, D.Imman is the music composer, Nobel is the dance choreographer, Samuel is the editor, Vaira Balan is the art director while director Prabhu Solomon also takes credit for the story and screenplay of the movie. Kayal would be a love story with the sea being one of the key elements in the movie.

R.K.Varma has worked on short films and he is being introduced to the cinema industry through Kayal. D.Imman has already composed 5 of the total 6 songs planned. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics for all the songs.

James is the executive producer of the movie while Madan would be producing Kayal on behalf of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. The producers have guaranteed a visual treat.

The shoots of the movie will be commenced in Ponneri on 13th September and after that the filming will continue in places such as Chennai, Kanyakumari, Nagercoil, Mysore, Shimoga, Meghalaya, Leh and Ladakh.
