It turned out to be a weekend of back-to-back-partying for namma stars who are in the UAE for an awards ceremony.


In a rare case of ‘no work and all play’, our stars partied hard at two rocking dos hosted by the Khans of Bollywood — Shah Rukh Khan and Sohail Khan. First, the party-happy Kollywood and Tollywood brigade, got an invitation from King Khan to join him for a house party at his posh villa at The Palm, Jumeirah on Thursday.

“SRK who is shooting here in Dubai for Happy New Year got to know that the South stars are in the city for an awards night. He was hosting a party at his place for his Bollywood friends, including Deepika Padukone and beau Ranveer Singh, so he extended the invitation to the South fraternity as well,” says a star, present at the do. The actors headed to SRK’s house party at around midnight and the revelry continued well into the morning.

“Trisha came back only at 7 am, much after I woke up…” her mom was overheard telling a friend. New couple, Ranveer and Deepika were together most of the night, indulging in some PDA. Abhishek Bachchan was spotted bonding with Dhanush, Shriya, Trisha, Rana, Shruti and Arya among others.The effervescent host that he is, SRK ensured that no one left his house without a dip in the pool. While many happily jumped in to beat the heat of the balmy Dubai weather, those who were reluctant, were pushed into the pool by SRK himself!

Meanwhile, King Khan saw each of his guests off, freshened up in a matter of minutes and reported to work for a 9 am appointment! “How does he do it?” asked some of our stars. The next day, it was Sohail Khan’s turn to play host. He was joined by SRK’s better half Gauri Khan and her gang of girls — Maheep Kapoor, Nandita Mahtani, Sabina and others. Lakshmi Manchu, Devi Sree Prasad, Kajal Aggarwal and sis Nisha Aggarwal, Navdeep, Allu Sirish,Amy Jackson, Vidyut Jamwal and Sonu Sood among others were also present.
