Actors Vijay Sethupathi and Kreshna are all set to team up for a film, titled Vanmam. Directed by debutant Jai Krishna, who has earlier assisted Kamal Haasan, the film is likely to go on floors from November.

Talking about the film, Kreshna says, “It’s a fantastic script about two friends. The equation between friends transcends several emotions — love, ego and hatred among others. But true friends always get back together, irrespective of the fights they have had. The title of the film is justified in the story.”

Kreshna and Vijay play good friends in the film — Chelladurai and Radha respectively. “We are now in the process of casting for the female lead, who will be paired opposite my character. Raghunandan (of Neerparavai fame) will compose the music. The film will majorly be shot in Nagercoil and Mutham,” he adds.
