Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi Stalin is gearing up for the release of her maiden directorial venture Vanakkam Chennai. The film is touted be a romantic musical laced with comedy targeted at all sections of the audience. Mirchi Shiva and Priya Anand play the lead and Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film.

As a part of the promotions, the debutante director plans to plant 500 saplings to compensate for the carbon emitted during the film’s shoot. Now that her debut venture is ready to hit the screens, the buzz is whether she will direct her husband Udhayanidhi Stalin.
