Amala Paul who has her hands full in the southern film industry was in the news recently for turning down Gabbar, the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Ramana, opposite Akshay Kumar.

When reporters quizzed the actress if she was upset that the film didn’t work out, she retorted, “Why would I be upset about it? It was I who decided to drop the film. I couldn’t take it up because of date clashes. But I am definitely looking forward to doing a film in B-town some time in the near future.”

So is there anything in the pipeline? “I am in a very comfortable space in the southern film industry, which has given me everything. If I get a Bollywood offer, which is irresistible, then I am definitely game for it,” said she.
