Dropped ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram’ to stay as friend with Gautham Menon, says Suriya
Last night, actor Suriya spoke during the audio launch of movie ‘Jannal Oram’. Then, Suriya emotionally said that he dropped out of Gautham Menon’s movie since he did not want the friendship between him and Gautham Menon to be spoilt.

Suriya dropped out of ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram’ directed by Gautham Menon, and it took the cine circle and the fans by surprise.

In a development, Suriya spoke during the audio launch of ‘Jannal Oram’. He said that he separated from Gautham Menon so that friendship between him and Gautham Menon is not spoilt. ‘But, surely, after a year, I would do movie directed by Gautham Menon’, said Suriya.

‘I desired speaking a lot in this function. But, I share certain things which are in my heart.’

‘I am also a fan of Karu Pazhaniappan. I like movies as ‘Parthiban Kanavu’ and ‘Sivappadhikaram’ directed by Karu Pazhaniappan.

Jyothika was to do the movie ‘Parthiban Kanavu’. Till date, as Jyothika views the movie on television, she used to say that she missed the chance to do the movie.

In Tamil cinema, if about 100 movies are released in a year, only eight or ten movies turn hit. The movie ‘Jannal Oram’ would be one in the list.

I know what friendship is. Beyond work and profession, I do not want the friendship to be spoilt. So, I took a decision recently. The relationship would not be severed. The relationship would last.

The next year, I would meet you with a good movie. I made the decision such that the plan fructifies.’
