Looks like all is not well between Gautham Karthik and director Saravanan, who are working on Sippai.

The buzz is that the two are not on talking terms and are communicating with each other through associates on the set.

A source says, “Gautham is working on a couple of films now, and has distinctively different looks in them. While he sports long hair with curly locks in Sippai, he has a clean shaven look with short hair in Aishwaryaa Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai. So, to shoot for his sequences in this film, he had to trim his hair. But this has affected the continuity of Sippai.

The wigs created by both Sippai and Vai Raja Vai’s team didn’t suit Gautham’s character, which has forced Saravanan to go for long shots of Gautham. This has not gone down well with him, and the two are not seeing eye-to-eye with each other on the set. In fact, they communicate with each other through the associate directors”
