Kajal Aggarwal was earlier subjected to severe criticism for turning down an offer from Kamal Haasan for Uthama Villain.

Reports had it that the actress said she had no time to accommodate the project and hence turned it down. Kajal however in a recent interview cleared the air stating she did not say no to Kamal Haasan because she was never approached in the first place for the project.

Now the latest buzz is that Kajal Agarwal has indeed been roped in by Kamal Haasan for this illustrious project where sources add Ulaganayagan might be playing a dual role. Reports further more add that Kajal has conceded to the project after being assured that the shooting schedules will commence only at end of december.

Uthama Villain will be directed by Kamal Haasan's close pal Ramesh Aravind for Linguswamy's Thirupathi Brothers production Banner.
