The upcoming ventures of Nayanthara is nothing but promising whose recent release Raja Rani is a runaway hit.

While Arrambam in which she is pairing up with Ajith kumar for the third time is slated to release on October 31st on account of Diwali, it is reported that she requested for the postponement of the relase of Anamika the Tamil Telugu bi-lingual in which she plays the lead role.

Anamika is the remake of the Hindi films Kahani which starred Vidya Balan in the lead and she received accolades across the country for her performance init. The makers had reportedly planned to release this remade version for Dussera which dd not pan out.

This made them to think of a Diwali release however Nayanthara is said to have requested the Director as well as the Producer of the film to relase the film in December 2013, in order to avoid the clash that would emerge due to two of her films releasing on the same day.
