Reportedly, late lyricist Vaalee was to pen the lyrics for all the songs in Vasanthabalan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan.
However, he had written a love song, Kodaali Mudichu Pottu (his last song), and Vandhanam for the film before his demise. Now, Pa Vijay has completed the remaining songs for the period film. The original songs and background score of the film will be composed by A. R. Rahman cinematography will be handled by Nirav Shah.

The director says, “Pa Vijay has written the remaining songs of my film. They have turned out well and Vijay has done it in his own style. We do miss Vaalee sir as nobody can replace him.”

The shoot of the film, starring Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhicka and Anaika, has been proceeding at a brisk pace and this is one of Vasanthabalan’s ambitious projects after his Aravaaan.
