Cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan’s upcoming movie ‘Ceylon’, which will be released in Tamil under the title ‘Inam’, has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean U certificate.

The noted cinematographer has directed this venture which revolves around four youth caught in the war-torn Sri Lanka.

The film stars a 15-year old boy in lead role and the ace cinematographer has clarified that this film will have nothing to do with the LTTE. The music for the film is being composed by young music director Vishal Chandrashekhar. The film will be released in English under the title Ceylon and in Tamil titled as ‘Inam’.

The director who had begun this project a couple of years back had some delays while progressing with this film. Sivan spent months researching and getting footage for the film which is all set to release soon.
