Simbhu and Hansika are donning the lead roles in the film titled Vaalu. This film is being directed by debutant director Vijay Chandar.

Others in the cast are Santhanam, VTV Ganesh and Brahmanandam. This film was supposed to be released last Deepavali.

A teaser of this film was also released at that point of time. The shooting of this film is yet to be completed.

Poda Pdoi was released one year back. Simbhu is intensely acting in the film Vaalu with the intention of releasing it in an early date. Recently a song sequence was shot in Binny Mills at Perambur.

Apart from this a few song sequences and talkie portions are remaining to be shot. Very soon two song sequences are to be shot in foreign locales.

Simbhu wants this film to be released during the month of January 2014. There is also news that there are chances of Vaalu being released during the month of December itself.
