Director SS Rajamouli is today one of the biggest brands in south India. Recently his Eega in Telugu and its bi-lingual Tamil version Naan Ee became blockbusters. Now Rajamouli is making another bi-lingual in Telugu and Tamil.

It is a period drama called Baahubali in Telugu and Mahaabali in Tamil.

Marking hero Prabhas’s birthday today, Arka Media Works released a first-look poster and video of the upcoming magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ which is simultaneously made in Tamil as ‘Mahaabali’. Veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao is presenting the film. The music will be composed by MM Keeravani. National Award winner Sabu Cyril has been roped in as art director for the film.

Noted lyricist Madhan Karky is writing the script for the Tamil version Mahaabali. Karky had tweeted : " Mahaabali is a straight Tamil film. Every scene shot twice once in Tamil and once in Telugu .Will talk about it closer to release."

On Wednesday SS Rajamouli uploaded a making video of the film, which was very impressive.
The video is designed by Rajamouli’s son, SS Karthikeya and his team. Rajamouli mentioned in twitter that M M Keeravani was dissatisfied with several versions of background score of the video and hence started the final version at 11 PM last night and completed by 4 AM. According to Rajamouli, even though he had no idea of releasing the first look now, it was purely based on Prabhas’s fans demand, he agreed to do so.

Prabhas looked amazing in the Baahubali costumes and he proved to be perfect for this period-drama. Mahaabali also casts Anushka, Rana, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Ramya Krishna in prominent roles. Arka Media is lavishly producing Mahaabali that is slated for 2015 release, and will have state of art graphics..
