We know that Kollywood handsome single Silambarasan aka Simbu aka STR has signed a new film with director Pandiraj of Pasanga fame. As we already reported the film is all set to kick start his new film today.

The shoot for the film began this morning in the outskirts of Chennai. Interestingly, the comedy scenes are being canned first, which means Simbu is working with Parotta Soori, today. This is the first time the duo is coming together. The film also has Santhanam doing the comedy. The last time Simbu and Santhanam had teamed up for Vaanam, they brought the house down with their antics. Let's hope the combination with Soori also works for Simbu.

Earlier Simbu tweeted, "Starting a new project from Monday with dir Pandiraj... producing it in my home banner and my brother kural is scoring the music..." in his twitter page.

"Santhanam is also there... and all that you expect from me will also be there :) btw, in search of a romantic title ..!!??" Pandiraj is still in search of Simbu's heroine in the film.

 "Rest of the cast and crew is yet to b finalised.... its a rom-com, not urban centred, sumthin diff from me for all u frenz! need ur wishes:)" said STR.
