Post Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru with Siddharth and Hansika, director Sundar C. has started his next film Aranmanai on 6th October.

Hansika, Lakashmi Rai and Andrea are playing the female leads opposite Vinay Rai and Sundar C. in Aranmanai and Santhanam is likely to join them soon. Aranmanai is expected to be a thriller comedy.

Hansika is quite nervous about Aranmanai and tweeted, "Never been nervous about any of my character or roles, but for the first time nervousness has caught me ,started shoot for #aranmanai excited to be a part of this project but by far it's a super challenging role for me that I haven't done till today ..."

Aranmanai will be a supernatural/psychological thriller, on the lines of Chandramukhi.
