Announcement by Suriya that he is dropping out of Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram’ took the cine field by shock.

The reason is that, Gautham Menon’s directorial venture ‘Kakka Kakka’ made Suriya a popular actor.

Recently, Suriya dropped out of Gautham Menon’s movie and it sent ripples of shock across fans.

In a development, an instance which happened few days back has taken everybody by surprise.

Suriya seems to have given about Rs 10 crores to Gautham Menon, which includes advance he received for the movie by Gautham Menon.

Reports are that Suriya’s gesture is out of concern that Gautham Menon should not incur loss although the venture has not been taken up.

Same way, director Vasanth, who introduced Suriya in ‘Nerukku Ner’, had approached Suriya for a movie. Suriya turned down the offer, but provided financial assistance to Vasanth.
