'Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam' going for Telugu Remake 
Tamil movie ‘Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam’ starring Sivakarthikeyan turned a super hit. The movie is to be remade in Telugu.

‘Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam’ stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sri Divya, Sathyaraj, and Suri. The movie is running successfully in theatres.

The movie is one among movies made at a low budget and which earned huge collections this year.

The movie was produced at a budget of Rs 7 crore, and about Rs 3 crore was spent on promotion. During the first week, the movie earned collection of Rs 30 crore.

The movie starring Sivakarthikeyan smashed box-office record made by Suriya’s ‘Singam 2’ in many theatres. There was competition to acquire remake rights of the movie.

Suresh has acquired the remake rights of the movie in Telugu. ‘I have acquired remake rights of ‘Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam’. The shooting would commence soon. Like with Tamil people, the movie would win acclaim among Telugu fans.’

Kondeti, who was dubbing Tamil movies in Telugu, is for the first time producing the upcoming flick. Also, the movie is to be remade in Kannada.
