Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is keen on laying his hands on the remake rights of the Ajith starrer Arrambam.

Remaking Tamil films in Hindi and raking huge profits out of it has become a trend in Bollywood as it spells sure-fire success at the box office. Akshay Kumar who has been a doing quite a few Tamil films in Hindi, is currently working on the Hindi remake of Vijay's Thuppakki directed by A R Murugadoss. The latest buzz is that the Akshay is keen on laying his hands on the remake rights of the Ajith starrer Arrambam that hit the screen for Diwali and has been receiving amazing response.

The talk in town is that Akshay Kumar who has been impressed with the massive hit film, has sent word to the producers that he is interested in bagging the remake rights. Looks like the star would be donning the Ajith's role soon after completing Vijay's Thuppakki remake.

The southern stars are making quite an impact in Bollywood even without starring in Hindi film. An official word or confirmation is yet to be known from either Akshay Kumar or the producers.

A clear picture would emerge once the deal is sealed by the concerned parties.
