Mani Ratnam's Roja star Arvind Swamy, who has recently done a character role in Tamil film Kadal has signed his next Bollywood film, which will be a Hindi-Tamil bilingual.

Aravind Swamy, who was last seen in Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya during 2000 will be doing a Hindi film after 13 years. The Bombay star himself confirmed the reports in his twitter page, "It's a film that will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Will let you know the other artistes as soon as the casting is finalised."

Arvind Swamy will be playing main protagonist in this untitled film, which is the remake of award-winning Marathi film Kaksparsh also directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Kaksparsh is a period drama that showcases the relationship between Brahmin widow and her reformist father-in-law.
