The film has reportedly kicked-off to a good start in Chennai. Considering that the initial reports are positive, "Pizza 2: Villa" is likely to take a good opening on the first day. It remains to be seen how it performs in its first weekend, which is crucial for any film.

"Pizza 2: Villa" is the second film in the "Pizza" franchise. The first film, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan, was a big hit in 2012. Directed by debutant Deepan Chakravarthy, "Pizza 2:Villa" stars Ashok Selvan, Sanchita Shetty in lead roles.

Its music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, who also worked on the soundtracks of "Pizza." The film is produced by CV Kumar and distributed by Studio Green.

The horror flick will have a runtime of 103 minutes. It has been released alongside two other lesser known Tamil films - "Apple Penne" and "Ravana Desam." Of all the three releases, "Pizza 2:Villa" gets maximum number of screens and is expected to get good collections on the first day.

On 15 November, Hindi biggie "Ram-Leela" (titled changed as "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela") is all set to release in south India. The film, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, is carrying positive pre-release buzz. The release of the Hindi film might affect the Tamil releases.

The Telugu version of the thriller film will hit screens on 16 November. The film was initially planned for a 15 November release, but the date has been rescheduled as Telugu blockbuster film "Attarintiki Daredi" is completing 50 days at the box office on the same date.
