Actor and poet Jayabalan, who was seen as the baddie in Aadukalam, has been arrested by the Sir Lankan police for Visa irregularities.

Basically a Sri Lankan, Jayabalan moved over to Chennai due to the internal strife in his country. He was on a visit to his homeland during which the arrest was made.

Jayabalan’s purpose of visit to the country was to pay homage to his mother’s tomb. After doing it as planned, he was staying at a relative’s place. The arrest was made when Jayabalan was travelling and police sources say that it was done due to certain issues with his Visa.
