Vishal held Pandiya Nadu success party at a five star hotel for the media on Wednesday evening. The same night he held a private birthday party for his close friend and co-star, Vikranth at another hot spot.

Vishal is happy that Pandiya Nadu has clicked at the Diwali box-office, inspite of stiff competition. Says Vishal: "Everybody loved the film and it is turning out to be the biggest hit in my career. More number of screens and shows have been added in the second week."

Bharathiraja who played a crucial role as hero's dad was all praise for director Suseenthiran and his script. Said the veteran director: " I rarely do films as an actor. I agreed to do Pandiya Nadu after hearing Suseenthiran's narration and I liked his earlier films. A lot of people complimented me for my performance, which was due to the good script."

Heroine Lakshmi Menon was happy that it was her fourth hit in a row. Music director D Imman who was present said everything fell into place. Vikranth said Vishal is more like his brother, and a person he is closest to over the years. Vishal also said that he will be producing a film in which Vikranth will play the hero.
