Vijay Sethupathi had dropped Sangudevan, the movie that he was to have produced and starred. Sources say that a popular director-cum-actor advised Vijay Sethupathi against producing this venture because it was more like an art film despite the story being very unique.

Based on the advise that he might lose all his hard-earned money and also create a negative image for himself, Vijay Sethupathi has decided to drop Sangudevan for now, state sources.

The star is very busy for the next couple of years with a number of projects needing his attention.
