The Revising Committee has mentioned that they cannot certify the film Biryani with a U certificate. Karthi, Hansika and Premgi are starring the film Biryani which has been directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this film which has been produced under the banner Studio Green. The Censor Board members who saw this film certified it with a U/A certificate. The film was again sent to Revising Committee for getting a U certificate.

The members of the Revising Committee after seeing the film said, “ The are lots of adult content in the film. Hence there is no chance of certifying this film with a U certificate.”

The whole crew is shocked. The reason for this is Biryani will not get a tax rebate from the State Government. This film is being released on 20th December.
